I am sorry if this doesn’t get to you but I saved this month’s epistles for today! My vision might be improving–no promises yet (toxic plasmosis) medicines since 11/16/25! Your words are always wonderful and I think the Healy sisters at Presentation were also relatives. The Presentation Sisters now have funeral services at Holy Cross in the chapel next to El Camino High! Please know that gratitude fills my heart for your words–except for the Java Beach Irish bread at $7.50 a slice. Please enjoy lent–i am going to try and get to mass on Wednesday. On Thursday I get my ferritin infusion and on Friday my 8AM appointment is with the retina specialist. I am hoping to be grateful for all medical folks by Easter. Take good care of you and yours and hug those babies for me, please. 0x, kaaren

Good luck with your upcoming treatment and appointment. As for the overpriced Irish Soda Bread at Java Beach,… I didn’t realize the cost. When I helped Pat Maguire (the owner) by editing and publishing his book, All Things Beautiful, he gifted me with a Java Beach Gift Card which has no limit. He told me I’d never pay for anything at Java Beach again! It’s a good thing I live in San José, otherwise I’d probably be there every day!!!
